History

SoundTown is the first festival and really the kick-off party under the new ownership at Somerset Amphitheater.  The venue has undergone some major improvements and what better way to re-open the doors to the improved site than holding a two-day indie rock festival.  The lineup has influences from a few different genres – folk/bluegrass, hip-hop and electronic, but most predominantly indie rock.

The goal with SoundTown is to make the festival as accessible as possible – which you will see in this year’s low ticket prices.  We are very excited about the lineup of music and hope you are too, with a great blend of national and local acts.  We are also excited to open the new campgrounds to our guests – between the music, camping & tubing, it should be the perfect weekend getaway.
